At the beginning of the year I had placed an empty Mason jar on my desk. Whenever I achieved a goal or if something great happened, I commemorated the moment by jotting it down on a slip of paper and putting it in the jar. The jar was crammed with paper by the middle of the year. Today I emptied the Mason jar and had fun going through the moments I had written down. A lot happened this year! 
This ritual proved to me that a) if you look for positive things, you’ll see them everywhere, and b) life is made up of little moments. For 2014, I’m getting a bigger jar.
One of the great moments of 2013 for me was the publication of THE BRIDESMAID’S BEST MAN. I played with the story in my head for quite a while and I was thrilled I finally had a chance to tell it. I’m very grateful that I got to work with the Blaze editorial team on that project and I really appreciate those who took the time to read it. I love hearing from readers and I hope they will enjoy what I have in store for them in 2014!
